West lake drive
New construction Full service interior design
Project Scope
This project began with a full teardown of an existing structure to make way for a new lake home designed for empty nesters who wanted a beautiful, functional retreat to enjoy year-round, and to welcome their children home for long weekends and holidays. The goal was to create a space that feels cool, relaxed, and breezy during the summer months, yet warm, inviting, and deeply comfortable in the winter. Every decision was rooted in balancing these seasonal experiences while establishing a timeless foundation for the next chapter of family life.
Project DETAILS
The resulting four-bedroom home blends warm and cool tones to achieve a calm, classic palette that supports everyday living and comfortable gathering. Timeless architectural details are layered throughout, including shiplap accents, an elegant cast-stone mantle, and beautifully crafted Amish cabinetry. Furnishings were sourced from American makers, with custom upholstery, tables, and chairs tailored specifically for the home. These thoughtful selections create a cohesive environment where quality, comfort, and craftsmanship come together, making the lake home as inviting on a snowy winter morning as it is on a bright July afternoon.
